There are three major things the U.S. Citizenship Act will provide; provide pathways to citizenship and strengthen labor protections, prioritize smart border controls, and address root causes of migration.

Providing a pathway to citizenship and strengthen labor protections would; create an earned roadmap to citizenship for undocumented individuals, keep families together, embrace diversity, promote immigrant and refugee integration and citizenship, grow our economy, and protect workers from exploitation and improve the employment verification process.

 

Prioritizing smart border controls would; crackdown on criminal organizations, manage the border and protect border communities, and supplement existing border resources with technology and infrastructure.

 

Addressing the root causes of migration would; improve the immigration courts and protect vulnerable individuals, and support asylum seekers and other vulnerable populations.
